White wax is a substance secreted by male insects, with white wax alcohol and white wax alcohol ester as the main components. It is a white or light yellow solid. It is shiny, with a relative density of 0.95-0.970 and a melting point of 80-85℃. It is insoluble in water, ethanol and ether, and easily soluble in organic solvents such as benzene and chloroform.
The finished products of white wax are rice wax and horse tooth wax. They are made by mixing the first wax, second wax and third wax in proportion. The ratio of rice wax is 40~6~55% for the first wax, 45%~ss% for the second wax and 5% for the blue wax. Raw materials that cannot be refined into rice wax can be boiled into horse tooth wax, among which the proportion of old wax and third wax is higher.
