Odorless white powder or granules. Cyanuric acid is also known as tricyanic acid. 2, 4, 6-trihydroxy-1, 3, 5-triazine; 2,4,6 trihydroxy-homotriazine (2, 4, 6-triazinettriol); Sym -triazinetriol. White crystal, precipitated from water, with two water of crystal. Taste slightly bitter, basically non-toxic, soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water, aqueous solution is acidic, soluble in aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, insoluble in cold alcohol, ether, benzene and other organic solvents.
