PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Potassium Formate powder easily soluble in water, non-toxic and non-corrosive, is a high-purity, dry crystalline organic salt used to formulate brine. Potassium formate is used to make high density and solids-free formate brine in the operations of water based drilling, completion, workover and fracturing, which require densities ranging from 8.4 to 13.1 lb/gal (1004 – 1573 kg/m3).
PRODUCT FEATURES
Potassium formate is a white crystalline powder of flakes with water absorbing performance and slight formic acid odor. It is soluble in water and glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol.It is clear and transparent iquid， no odor ,and the specific gravity of its saturated solution is 1.57g/cm3.
PRODUCT USAGE
1.Widely used in completion fluid in oil field.
2. In leather industry;
3. As reducing agent in printing & dyeing industry;
4. As coagulator in cement; Or used in the manufacture of carbon black.
PACKAGING & STORAGE
It should be placed in a cool and dry place indoors to avoid sun and rain.
