PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DEET is a widely used insecticide. Spray it on your skin or clothes to avoid mosquito bites. Its chemical name is N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide, commonly known as DEET. DEET has a repellent effect on many arthropods such as mosquitoes, biting flies, chiggers, fleas and ticks, and can play an excellent mosquito repellent role in various climates and environments. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid that is insoluble in water but easily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, toluene, and acetone. It has a faint and unique odor and forms a transparent film when applied to the skin, with good anti-friction and anti-sweat properties.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

DEET is suitable for adults and children, but it is prohibited for infants under 2 months old. For children and pregnant women, it is recommended to use low-concentration DEET products. A 30% concentration of DEET can provide 5 to 8 hours of protection, and when the concentration exceeds 50%, the excess DEET will not have a more lasting effect. In addition, DEET can also damage some plastics and clothes made of synthetic fibers, so pay attention to these details when using it.
