PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Boron is also known as borax pentahydrate (borax pentahydrate), white crystalline powder. Density 1.815g/cm3, melting point 75℃. Soluble in hot water, glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol, carbon tetrachloride. Aqueous solution is alkaline. When heated to 120℃, it loses water of crystallization completely.

Appearance and properties of borax pentahydrate: White solid Odor: Odorless Odor threshold: None pH value: 9.23 (3.5% concentration) @20°C Melting/freezing point: <200°C (closed room) Boiling point, initial boiling point and boiling range: None Flash point: None Combustion upper and lower limits or explosion limits: Non-explosive Vapor pressure: None Vapor density: Not applicable Density: 1.81 Solubility: 40.06 g/L @20°C n-octanol/water partition coefficient: n/a, autoignition temperature: n/a, decomposition temperature: n/a Evaporation rate: n/a Flammability (solid, gas): non-flammable Viscosity: n/a

Borax Pentahydrate is mainly used for the production of solid, liquid and suspended boron-containing trace element compound fertilizers.

USES

Boron-containing coated compounds or mixed materials. Production of liquid micronutrient preparations.

It can also be applied directly to the soil to correct boron deficiency in some perennial crops. Incorporate into solid fertilizer media or compost.
